BHMBA works to:

  • Plan, build and maintain environmentally friendly and sustainable biking trails
  • Be a source of information and resources for mountain bike enthusiasts
  • Coordinate a variety of projects and events on behalf of the mountain biking community
  • Collaborate with other organizations and community groups to promote both  the sport of mountain biking and outdoor activities/tourism in South Dakota

Mountain biking is a sport that engages body, mind and spirit.  Take a solo ride to clear your mind and experience nature up close, ride with family and friends for fun and adventure (and tall tales to tell later), or participate in rides, races, projects, meetings and social events that bring a whole new dimension to the biking experience.

Bulldog Shuttle/Ride

Bulldog Shuttle RideThanks to everyone that showed up to ride with us on Sunday, 10-16-16.  We had a group of 27 start the ride!  We look forward to doing this again soon!

Fence Repair - Bone Up Trail

Ben Schumacher of the Mystic Ranger District recently put the fence back up across Bone Up near the northern end of that trail. The land is deeded for cattle grazing. We have been told to use the rerouted trail out to FS Road-173 then go thru the gate to access the Bone Collector as in the past. Please respect this closure and remember most of the trails we use in the Shanks Quarry/Rim Trails area are not classified therefore we need to tread lightly.

Do you have ideas, muscles, and a little community spirit?

Help us build and maintain the trails we all love to ride.
