BHMBA works to:
- Plan, build and maintain environmentally friendly and sustainable biking trails
- Be a source of information and resources for mountain bike enthusiasts
- Coordinate a variety of projects and events on behalf of the mountain biking community
- Collaborate with other organizations and community groups to promote both the sport of mountain biking and outdoor activities/tourism in South Dakota
Mountain biking is a sport that engages body, mind and spirit. Take a solo ride to clear your mind and experience nature up close, ride with family and friends for fun and adventure (and tall tales to tell later), or participate in rides, races, projects, meetings and social events that bring a whole new dimension to the biking experience.
Black Hills Forest Advisory Board-Help Needed!
Hello BHMBA supporters and followers - we need your help!
As you are all well aware, we have been put on hold for adding legacy trails such as Victoria, Storm and Shanks to be recognized trails with the Black Hills National Forest because they did not have a framework for deciding if we need (and can maintain) more trails. The first step in getting these trails approved is to let the National Forest Advisory Board (NFAB) know what you want to see done with your forest by completing the survey below. This survey is open to all ranger districts of the Black Hills so your reply doe not have to be limited to just the Mystic Ranger District.
Please take the time to complete the survey thoughtfully and then share it with your friends, family and coworkers that utilize the Black Hills National Forest in a non-motorized way. If your favorite trails are not system trails (can't be found on a FS Publication) then let them know! Thanks for helping out - every response counts!

Thanks to everyone that showed up to ride with us on Sunday, 10-16-16. We had a group of 27 start the ride! We look forward to doing this again soon!
