BHMBA Youth Race Series

2017 BHMBA Youth Race Series

A major component of the BHMBA Youth Cycling Program is the BHMBA Youth Race Series.  BHMBA has worked closely with local leaders, businesses, and event organizers to utilize existing events to create the BHMBA Youth Race Series.

The purpose of creating this race series was to encourage youth participation by:

  1. Providing easy access to competitive events for youth racers/cyclists.
  2. Creating consistent age divisions throughout the series.
  3. Offering consistent event distances and/or efforts across multiple races.
  4. Recognizing and rewarding youth cyclists for riding in a competitive event.

Awards

All youth participants will be recognized and awarded, as a group, at every BHMBA Youth Race Series Event, with special recognition going to the fastest male and fastest female at each race.
